allez allez allez FRANCE!

this summer has been fanstastic. i feel like i've gotten closer to people rather than break apart. i really miss haley and sara though.. hopefully we can hang out before i leave. and josh too but no chance i'll see him until school starts. SO. i've been busy. here we go :

TOP again with nolan, taylor and alex. - from work, i took my first ever public bus ride with my aunt to downtown. i guess its something you have to learn to do, but i'lll be too scared to transfer busses when the time somes. so my aunt took me to starbucks and we sat there for about 15 minutes waiting for my dad and alex. then i realized that we were on main street, and i had told alex that it was the one on state street. any i only told him that because thats what my dad told me. well, we got ahold of them and they walked to our starbucks together. i guess it wasnt too bad. they talked about baseball or something.
^^ ok i wrote this like a week ago and so i'm not going to go into lots of details. basically, it was really fun. we hung out in the grass and saw mr. blow and went to buffalo wild wings and took pictures.

then i'm sure a bunch of other stuff happened. work, i GOT MY FIRST PAY CHECK WOO!! 250 dollars. pretty nice i'd say. i'm getting used to the work. and kat's ipod really helped.

OH. speaking of katherine, we had a little going away party at her house. her last time seeing friends before she left for a month, and i'm pretty sure she had a good time. i did. huge album on facebook pretty much explains it all. we walked down to racquet club on a scooter and a skateboard, played some basketball, i got raped in the bushes ;], watched date movie, went to bed really really early (11 for me), then woke up and went downtown. safe sex store, starbucks, TOE RING, present for alex which i should have given him yesterday... damn. well i'm hoping i'll see him tomorrowso maybe then. anyway it was crazy fun. lots of bitching out, all in good fun. CAR CAR CAR CAR!! <-- almost getting run over in the street, freaking out little kids and thier parents. *later* i just got a letter from her! shes having a great time at camp. she leaves to go on her trip in a few days. nice people and amazing food. yay


i'm currently having a great conversation with mr. blow. no doubt he'll read this too.. anyway yeah. second one this week! our topic right now is friendships in high school. feel free to comment.

nina and i had a little get together the other night with some people. we played an intensely hilarious game of ping pong, talked, went to the park, played catch with the footballs, ate, watched date movie, and just had a ton of fun. i got to her house around 1030 and we made cookies. and talked in that way like we're pretending to be dumb blondes and .. i dont know how to explain it, but its really fun! the cookies turned out great and we made guacomole and had a hard time not eating it all right there.. and then we straightened our hair and nina said hers looked like when she first got it cut which made me really happy. then we played catch until it started to storm, then aj called while we were sketching and asked if the party was canceled because there apparently was a tornado over northville. but it just looked a little windy out to us. i drew one really good picture that i'm not sure what to do with becuz i cant show it to people but i want to keep it for some reason. anyway then people showed up and it went from there!

we're redoing my laundry room so i've been having to do all mine at my grandparents house just down the street. i just went and me grandma looked through old pictures and talked about them and my family and underwear :] i really love doing that with her.

maybe going to nicole's later. maybe kayaking with alex tomorrow. then haley comes back sunday, we might hang out monday, then i leave for camp, there for about 12 days, then i'm going up north for a week. 19 days without phone or computer. i think i might just die. i'll take my phone to the cottage though. see if i get any service. then my dads bringing his laptop. or i might. not sure yet though. but we'd have to do it all at an internet cafe. ok i'll stop now and pack more. remember to write!


EDIT-- i completely forgot to talk about UofM field hockey camp. thanks mr. B! it was.. hot. but oh so much fun. i feel like i really learned a lot. and i feel like i can finally drive the ball! wow. i was on team france with jenny, katie, izzy, and some other grosse pointe girls. it was a lot like futures, just they didnt expect so much from you so i had fun. we had 2 2 hour sessions then night games. our coach for the night games was AWESOME. we did a lot of swearing and i scored our first 2 goals ever ( we lost all of our games the first two days )! i was really happy about that. some more pictures of that too. our team was the shit. i hope they all come back next year even though they'll be seniors.

more FH news, i went and hit around with melenie, gisele, jenny, izzy, and lauren baker. i'm glad i did it. now i'll be less nervous once preseason starts. I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE SEASON. you all have no idea. varsity? i hope so.
